July 2026
Hi all,
Here's what's new this month from Artificial Societies:
When British Prime Minister Keir Starmer resigned on 22 June, we created a simulation of the current UK Parliament and surveyed MPs' preferences for the next leader within 90 minutes.
This is the same capability our customers use to anticipate the consequences of high-stakes decisions before they happen. You can explore the results here.
One of the world's largest beverage companies is developing a new category of drinks, but traditional consumer research is too slow to support its launch timeline.
Using AS, they simulated how more than 1,000 US consumers would respond to product propositions, branding concepts, and messaging. Results were ready within 24 hours, and the customer was able to drill down into specific health segments and even zoom in on individual personas to understand the reasoning behind responses.
By modelling US policymakers and other influential stakeholders across the insurance ecosystem, we helped this insurer understand where its reputation is strongest, where its messaging is less persuasive, and how different audiences perceive its role in the market.
We then tested multiple communications strategies to identify the positioning most likely to strengthen credibility and improve the company's reputation as a trusted leader.
We want to explore using AS for more consequential decisions. If you know advisors in DC who work on anticipating lawmaker reactions, please connect us.
Again, thank you for being part of our journey at Artificial Societies.
Our best,
The AS Team
