This post is part of our monthly supporter updates and reflects product development and thinking at the time it was written. Here is our latest update.
Hi all,
Here's what's new this month from Artificial Societies:
We launched last Wednesday. Within 48 hours, we reached 300,000 impressions across LinkedIn and X. Thousands are now trying us out, and we're already seeing customers use AS to create posts about AS, getting strong engagement doing it. We are grateful to all of you who supported us during launch.
Pulsar helps brands like Twitter, Dr. Martens, and Twitch gain audience insights by tracking narratives and trending topics across traditional and social media. With Artificial Societies, audience intelligence now goes beyond passive monitoring. We're co-developing something completely new in the space. Stay tuned.
After launch, we noticed a significant drop-off for new sign-ups. We turned to AS for help, simulating "marketers who just signed up to a new tool called Artificial Societies." Within 30 seconds, AS identified one screen that scored just 1 out of 100. We consulted Amos for alternative designs, simulated the options, and refined, all in 10 minutes. Five days later, our onboarding conversion rate had nearly doubled. The same process would have taken roughly nine months through traditional A/B testing.
Standard LLMs struggle to generate the wide spread of responses that real humans produce. Because our multi-agent system accounts for far more individual diversity, Artificial Societies produces a much more human-like distribution of survey answers. We now have a working prototype for internal testing. Enterprises currently pay $50–100k annually for monthly surveys of hard-to-reach audiences. Soon, even solo founders can access this level of insight at a fraction of the cost.
