This post is part of our monthly supporter updates and reflects product development and thinking at the time it was written. Here is our latest update.
Hi all,
Here's what's new this month from Artificial Societies:
This month was all about building our biggest platform upgrade. We went from alpha to beta to early adopter rollout. For the first time, anyone can simulate any group of people, from personal LinkedIn and Twitter networks to target customers, and test ideas before taking the bet in real life.
Early beta testers love simulating niche, hard-to-reach professionals. Instead of spending thousands on month-long surveys, they can now simulate their target society in 150 seconds and run infinite experiments. We also made our network graphs much more interactive: click on Attention or Action to see who's likely to engage, and ask follow-up questions directly.
A key goal of AS 2.0 is to bring the same capabilities we've delivered to B2B clients into a self-served product for founders and product managers. Soon, anyone with the question "would people like what I'm creating?" will be able to pre-experiment in an Artificial Society before committing resources.
Patrick has been living inside Figma, crafting a new landing page and visual identity to match our expanded capabilities. Our guiding philosophy: in the age of AI, the line between distribution and product is blurred. Users aren't loyal to APIs; they are loyal to narratives, taste, and personality. Narrative is distribution, and distribution is product.
